Wait, what is house hacking, anyway?

“House hacking” refers to a handful of strategies for making your next home purchase not just affordable, but a fantastic investment.

The most common house hack is buying more home than you need and renting the rest. Multifamily homes (duplexes, triplexes, and fourplexes) are ideal for house hacking, but you can also rent out an ADU in the backyard or even bedrooms in your house or condo.
